Don't get clamped. The security firm is lying in wait for unwitting visitors. So please if you want to avoid a fine heed the foll. advice from someone who got clamped.So now we can't visit the library without following a set procedure (see info below taken fom the Willesden Green Library website)and of course we can't go and visit someone who lives in the area at a whim because of parking restrictions between 7.30am and 6.30 pm if you don't have a visitor's permit or paid a sum of money at the parking meter. And we wonder what is happening to community relations when increasingly our lives get regulated within an inch of our lives!!!!

Parking information as set out on the Willesden Green Library website:

From 1st of September '09 Willesden Green Library Centre Car park will be managed by AA security. Cars will be clamped if the following procedures are not followed:

* Valid permits*/tickets** should be displayed at all times
* Vehicles must be parked only within the designated marked bays
* No parking in restricted areas
* Disabled badge holders must display a valid badge at all times

THE CLAMPING HOURS ARE BETWEEN 9AM - 6PM.

*Staff

**Customers are required to pick up their free parking ticket from the Welcome Point inside the building. This ticket entitles customers to park for a period of 4 hours, with no return inside 1 hour.
