"Fantastic food, romantic, low key and classy"

Myself and my husband have dined several times now at this fantastic little place. You walk in through their patisserie and up the stairs into a lovely little romantic, but classy setting. Service is great, friendly and quick. Coats are taken and you are seated at a table of your choice - either overlooking the street on the mezzane style balcony or at a table with 1 long sofa (a favourite with my children). Tables are simple but elegant with suede chairs and japanese style centre peices and candles. Drinks are of course served first, followed by a small but fantastic selection of starters. My favourite has to be the warm breaded brie with blueberry sauce.
Then a visit either by the manager when he's in or his excellent supervisor Adam. Both help to create the brilliant and friendly atmosphere by talking to all of their guests, which i have yet to find in another restaurant. Out comes the main course, which can be anything from their Buckingham's fish pie, risotto, steak the way you like it or something delectable from their sushi menu. Another check from the manager, adam or one of the waiters or waitresses to make sure all is as you would like.

Desserts, if you can fit them in, are just as scrumptious. These can either be a selection of small pastries from the patisserie downstairs, ice creams, including green tea, or my favourite, sticky toffee pudding, which is small but after a huge meal, its perfect.

In short, both food and staff are fantastic. The only suggestions i would make are: more fanastic choices of food on the menu, custard, more branches, a website and most important: to the proprietor; keep the manager (whose name unfortunately escapes me), and Adam because they are what makes the place work and they keep the cudtomers coming back.
