Starting with a miso soup which didn't even taste like miso and looked dark brown (how the hell do you stuff up miso soup???) Some dumplings which looked & tasted like they'd been bought at lidl or something. Actually i won't insult lidl like that, they just tasted like soggy tasteless CRAP. The sashimi was AWFUL. I couldn't even eat my main course (soup) as it just tasted like water. Luckily i didn't have to pay for the soup as i kicked up such a fuss. But the rest of it came to about £30, i should have gone to mcdonalds for a better meal!
THE CHEF ISNT EVEN JAPANESE. And she got really grumpy when we complained and was giving us angry looks through the kitchen window. I suspect the only thing japanese about this restaurant is the asahi.
