Finding the court was a big challenge for me as I did not know where the court was. I got on the district line thinking that would take me straight to Blackfriars station. When I got to the tube station i found out that Balckfriars station was closed. I was told by a member of tube station staff that i could get off at Mansion House and walk from that station. So i got off at Mansion House and started to walk. I didn't know where i was heading when i stopped and asked someone they direct me towards a foot bridge i walked over the foot bridge and along side the river bank after walking from street to street and asking people where it was i walked into a shop and the shop keeper directed me. Even when I was 2 minutes away from the court i asked someone else and he told me to go back on the main road and walk towards the other way. I decided there and then to get into a black cab which i did and the cabbie said to me its only around the corner and it was.

Anyways after all that the other days that i was there i had no problem cause i found an alternative route.

When i got to the court (first day) i was late and felt very embarassred about it but then again there was other people that had just turned up as well, that kind of made me feel a lot better.

The first day was a long boring day just waiting to be called. I waited and waited nothing then at 3pm the office called us and told us that two case was cancelled and we was sent home and then had to turn up at 10:00am the next day. Same thing happend again the waiting game started and at 2:30pm i heard my name being called jumped up with joy finally i was called. When we got to the court room we was told that the judge would be selecting us. I thought oh no not again one by one people were being called and all of a sudden i was called i though finally and gladly i got up and amswered.

When all 12 jurors was selected the judge asked us to say the oath and one by one we all did.

Then the judge explained that this was going to be a four day case and started telling us what time we should be there and what time it will finsih.

the prosection started the case off and the lawyer spoke about it for 2 days and then the defendant lawyer spoke and the evidence was provided to us with recording interviews. Then the defendant was called in the witness box which was very interesting and enjoyable expereince i ever had.

I enjoyed myself being a juror and i enjoyed the case we got also the other jurors were very nice and we got on alwright with each other. Apart from the waiting times i think the experience was very good. I would love to do it again.
