The Cake Store recently produced the most wonderful cake(s) for my daughter's 40th birthday party. I chose "High Heels" (traditional fruit cake) and a matching "hatbox" (chocolate sponge with a yummy filling) as a 'cutting cake.'
Not only were the cakes stunning to look at, they were absolutely delicious with a home-made flavour about them. I was in charge of cake-cutting - and the guests just kept coming back for more!
I can't speak highly enough of the efficiency and pleasantness of this company - from the tolerance of the lady who took my order, to the design creator, the cake maker, the decorator and the delivery man; Thank you all most sincerely.
