"Gold Medal for Dad"

A review of Alzheimers Disease Society by Cutie - Sunday 11th of February 2007

I have just returned to the states after being in England to bury my Mother, who died 01/26/2007 after having alzheimers for many years. If a gold medal could be given for a true caregiver my Dad Ken Redman should have one. He struggled to take care of mum even when it became impossible for him but he never gave up. When the time came for her to go into a home he continued to visit two three times a week and became a champion in the rights for the alzhimer patient. They had been married 51 years when she died and was like two peas in a pod. how he will live without her remains to be seen. He lost family and friends over the time Mum was in the home as most people dont want to deal with a person they can no longer have a conversation with but not my Dad. Right to the day she died he was with her. He is my Hero and I would like to say Thanks Dad.
