Was i in italy or was i just imaging it, i attended this resturant with no booking and the first thing that i noticed was the special touches that make a good resturant great!!! I liked the fact that my coat was taken and that we were greeted with a pleasant smile. we were guided to a table for two, i asked if possible to be seated at a table for four no problem the wine list was large with some wines on the list not necessarily from italy.. I asked for a wine that i did not see on the list neverthe less they produced it nonetheless- a chateau neuf du pape.this was served in an efficient manner and tasted fantastically full bodied.this was accompanied by olives and bread with olive and vinegar. I had a wonderful parma ham and Melon followed by a main course of veal,mozzarella and Tomato accompanied by veg consisting of sauteed potato brocoli and Carrots the dessert of Pofiteroles and cream was excelllent and as i spied some strawberries I asked for a few "no Problem" and was promptly give a few another bottle of wine and me and my girlfriend walked out feeling that we had a truly fantastic meal that brought back memories of a meal that we had eaten in Sorrento. The service was second to none and we were even given a complimentary glass of brandy at the end of the meal. this unhurried meall came in at less than £100 for 2 which i thought to be very reasonable. I will be back to this resturant for its service and ambience, but above all its excellent food...
