I also trained under Sensei Jim Wilson when i was 17.He had just written his two books on the Martial Arts and had a very busy club in edgware and Harrow.Alas a work injury to my knees, stopped my training.Years on and at the young age of 42,, i went back to the rectory lane dojo in Edgware, Dominique remembered me!! ( the hair she said!! ) and a year on i'm back at purple one stripe!! the training is still as traditional, but with modern outlooks. The club is still as busy ( along with the 2 Harrow clubs ) Alan is still there along with Michael Raven and Michael C assists the warm ups and training!!!!it feels like i never left!!......... now for that black belt!!!!!!.
