"Unwelcome Diners?"
A review of Shapla by Disgruntled - Thursday 15th of February 2007
I recently dined at the Shapla restaurant and while the meal and service were excellent, as soon as we had paid our bill, even though it was only 10.30pm on a Friday night, my party (and a couple of other groups) had waiters hovering over our table holding our coats, before we had even finished our drinks, and we were literally herded out of the restaurant. The staff obviously couldn't wait for everyone to leave which was extremely rude, no explanation was given, i.e. the restaurant had to close at a particular time, and we most certainly will not be dining there again. Shame because the food is good.
