My name is mark kennedy i am currently deeply involved in the garage music scene may it be underground or commercial.... i am a MC on the scene and i have a UK.NO1 hit record to my name which reached the top spot in 2000 beating the spice girls.. for proofs sake our track was called FLOWERS (sweet female attitude) and we had great success with this,, and the remix which was for the b side of the track when released to the public... my vocals where on the b side and it did better than the original track.... i have met and worked with the staff at south ville (noveen,tammy,jenny,john, etc.. my opinion of these people is EXTREMELY high they are willing to listen to new idea's, put community first before there opinion and always welcoming to any person... i am currently working with localized internet based radio stations (LEGAL) and have approached the center about trying to use my status to get a number of younger people at the center that are interested or would never usually have the chance to be part of the music scene may it be radio station,music production or dj'ing... they are more than helpful every time i have an idea.. if its a bad idea i am told so, same as if its good i am encouraged... SO to all the staff at the southville centre it is a pleasure to work and know you and hopefully we can do big things for the community..
