Dear web master,

I would be very happy if you could remove all the information you currently hold on Nas International Charity as they are obsolate as they are now AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING:.

Nasic is a charity based at THE WILLOWBROOK CENTRE, 48 WILLOWBROOK ROAD, LONDON SE15 6BW that helps people in need:

1. Children: – the sick, the terminally ill, the abused, the poor and helpless - children in the UK and across the World in need of care. We provide medicines, food, clothing such as blankets to keep the children warm and we intend to help the sick and helpless children wherever they are in the world especially at very critical times of conflict, natural disasters or when they face the share cruelty of man – even from their trusted relatives and parents.

2. Women and the Elderly: - who are abused, poor, neglected or are hard-to-reach;

3. The youth and young people: – We give skills and leadership training, counselling and reformation of attitudes and character. We fight violent crimes (guns, knives & drugs) and gangs through our “Nasic Families Awareness in London” Conference series, which is built around the Metropolitan Police Operation Trident; drug and substance abuse information, Ex-gang members’ testimonies and trident murder victims family’s testimonies. These conferences are intended to find practical solutions such as arming parents with right information and tools to catch their would-be-gang-member children at the nick of time before they become hit men for gangs or they are hit by gangsters.

4. We are committed to promoting racial harmony in the community as well as promoting awareness about reproductive health diseases HIV/AIDS and other STIs and tropical diseases such as malaria and imported malaria.

5. We also promote African cultural heritage and are dedicated to putting Africa into perspective for global reckoning without prejudice to others.

6. Furthermore, we support people in need at critical times especially when natural disasters, human conflicts and man’s inhumanity to man has brought suffering and hardship to bear on the weak and feeble especially, children, women and the senior citizens by giving grants and food when required. This we do by liaising and networking with other charities, socially responsible organisations and businesses as well as individuals to bring succour in time to those who desperately need them.

Our projects cost a lot of money, which we have to find, as many funders and the government have cut funding drastically and we now depend almost entirely on the help of other charities and the good-natured, kind-hearted individuals and members of the general public. The strain on our resources and funds engendered by problems in many parts of the World not least of them the UK, Haiti, Pakistan and Africa, means we have to always find funds urgently by holding collections on the streets and house to house as well as business places such as Train Stations and organise fundraising events and raffles.

Since 2009 Nas International Charity has been working in partnership with the Disasters Emergency Committee, DEC, BBC Children-in-Need, Comic Relief's Sport Relief, Timothy Omotoso Global Outreach, T.O.G.O’s Youth Empowerment Project in Durban, South Africa, Lupus Support Network in the UK, Atan Justice, Development, and Peace Centre in Nigeria, Osiomon Leprosarium in Nigeria, Eruobodo Disability Society in Nigeria, Immigrants Information Centre in London, The Educational Alliance Africa, Evelina Children Hospital part of the Guy and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children Charity among others to raising funds and awareness for these and other good causes for, which we have Certificates and Thank You letters from these organisations confirming our commitment to helping good causes and our collaboration with them.

Beyond these, Nasic have on its books some indigent scholars who we have to pay for to go to school in Nigeria and Ghana. We would like to do more as we continue to receive applications for scholarship support from these two countries and elsewhere but are constrained by lack of adequate funds. The unfortunate thing is that if we do not pay the school fees and maintenance of these children, no body would – certainly not their governments. The good thing is that as many of them as we can support, that is how many children we help guarantee a better future for and less burden on the society, even less burden on the larger community of man. We are interested in working with you and would like to hear from you. Your donations, which would be kindly received, would go a very long way in helping someone whose star would be dimed forever without your support. Kindly contact the under signed for further details please.
