I live in East London near Canary Wharf and used to go to Greenwich to get ingredients for my Thai cooking. That was before I discovered Alan's. It's a tiny little treasure trove of the good stuff you need for fresh South Asian and Chinese cooking, such as galangal, mint, coriander, palm sugar, shrimp paste, fish sauce, exotic fruits such as rambutan, etc etc, at very decent prices. |
