"GO TO MCDONALDS!!!"

After my anticipated trip to Angus Steak House I left feeling sick and angry. There seemed to be lots of staff standing around but none of them were actually doing anything and when one of them eventuallly came over after being hailed down they were nothing short of extreamely rude.

First of all they need to learn how to cook a steak and since when does it take 45 mins to cook a rare fillet? The steaks come with a "salad" that looks and tastes more like someone elses left overs and anything else is an extra cost... sauce for the steak is an extra 2 pound and any other sides cost anywhere from 2.50-4 pound ontop of an already overpriced meal.

The seating is very cramped and unorganised (surely they don't use all of those tables) so getting meals in and around tables involves disturbing patrons as waiters pass.

If you have a bad meal and complain about it don't expect any special treatment. I highly doubt you will be able to get your meal comped or discounted as the staff don't care plus it would take far too long to organise it. Just getting the bill was a pain I ended up following my waitress to get the bill and pay for it.

I had planned to head to the bank after the meal to deposit a large bag of pence I'd accummulated but I decided this appauling establishment would save me a trip and I payed my 60 pound bill in pence. The waitress looked at me unimpressed and didn't bother to count it. I then asked for my receipt, again unimpressed but I took it and walked out.

Overall it was a horrible combination of a bad venue, bad staff and bad food.

I will never EVER eat at an Angus Steak House again and I will be posting this review on as many websites as possible.

What overpriced crap! Should have gone to McDonalds!.
