"Britain had talent in 1948"

I submit this brief review on behalf of my father, Jim (Bill) Morrow, who in the years immediately after WW2 spent many a happy hour involved in various shows held at the hall, seemingly for the local children. I specifically remember one to which I went when I was about 6 years old c1948. My father and a pal enacted the "There's a hole in my bucket" sketch on stage. Dad played the mother who was continuously mixing a giant bowl of batter while going through the routine. His sidekick, also in drag, was Lisa of course who ultimately had the full bowl tipped over her head. The audience new what was coming but didn't quite believe it when it happened.

Does anyone remember this?.
