A review of Qatar Airways by Pieter Swart written on Tuesday 9th of August 2011
My story is slightly different - I got a job offer from a George Harry family in the UK as personal protector for the family - however mostly for the children as the parents are at times not home. The mother is Katherine George working for Quatar Airways - UK and her husband is an construction engineer - working for -CHEVRON. I would just like to confirm whether there is in fact a Katherine George working for Quatar airways in UK . What is strange to me is that the job offer comes from the private family - however on the letterhead of CHEVRON - the husbands employer?? Furthermore I find the surname or name George to appear quite frequently in the scams throughout. At this stage I have not been asked for any money - and is struggling to find the catch!
Also strange is that all efforts to call the tel numbers provided has failed - and the 2 times that we did in fact get answer we were asked to call back in 1 hour - just to find no answer.
Also for the law firm handling the job offer and visa application - Martins Chambers - Tottingham road - London - also only answer once in the several attempts made -and the same request - phone back in 1 hour.
The offer was GBP 1000 p/w, air tickets paid, work 25 hours per week , accommodation, medical insurance, food paid and many more.
Facebook detail and photos of the family appears under the George Harry family,
I find all suspicious - any comments on the experience. .
