"The Independent Voice of Spiritualism "
A review of Psychic World Publishing Co Ltd by Hitomi Kurihara, - Wednesday 26th of October 2011
"Psychic World" newspaper is very much the voice of Spiritualism in the UK, and one of the best periodicals of its kind in the world. It is edited by Candy Taylor and the Editor in Spirit, Ray Taylor BA; Assistant Editor, Michael Colmer; Features Editor, John G Sutton; and the Paranormal Investigator Matthew P Hutton. It has regular columns by Philip Solomon, Stephen O'Brien, and many others; Book Reviews by Matthew and Samantha Hutton. America is covered by Marilyn Awtry and John E Otey; Australia by Victor Zammit; New Zealand by Ken Pretty. Other regular contributors include James Byrne, Wendy Stokes, Ray Jones, Graham Hewitt, Melanie Polley, David Robinson, Trevor Davey, along with many other contributors. The newspaper is aimed at all Spiritualists and all others who are interested in the wider context of the spiritual world. It costs 80p and comes out monthly. We stock the newspaper at York Spiritualist Centre, but hurry if you want a copy, as it usually sells out quickly. The newspaper has no dedicated website (as yet), although it does have a presence on Facebook, where you can find more information, and is also one of the few newspapers to get a full page on Wikipedia.
