"BEST KEPT SECRET IN EAST LONDON"
A review of Nice Croissant by Stevie - Sunday 18th of March 2007
If ever there was a jewel in the crown it is Nice Croissant. I heard people talk about it as being so busy & difficult to get into at times on a weekend and thought ....what... a coffee shop. Well it is more than that. The cakes are the best I have seen for a long time, all hand made on the premises and so typically true French. A friend had one for a party and WOW...this is a cake you want to eat. All the other food served is as fresh as you could ever want it to be. Soups are exceptional, especially the New England Seafood Chowder and the Roast Pumpkin soup.. I have never tried better. Certainly someone knows what they are doing. The atmosphere, service and friendliness is second to none. I can see why people stay so long here, especially when the sun shines. The pavement is packed and some even wait for a seat.
