Poem to her majesty Queen Elizabeth 2nd

60 year ago we lost George the sixth when times were still lean
With a tear in the eye, the nation shouted God Save the Queen.

Elizabeth started her Rule with Coronation in fifty three
We had a young Queen and hansom Duke for the world to see.

When Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward joined the clan
Her duties Elizabeth carries on, with a family is the plan.

The Queens children add children and children to add
Her duties she still carries, but now some help to be had.

The United Kingdom & Commonwealth alike she is true
We are all pleased and proud Ma’am to say we love you.

George Glouecster
