"Channel 4 "Countdown" tv programme"

"Countdown" has become boring, boring, boring all thanks to presenter Nick Hewer. Who in their right mind employed this guy as the presenter. He has not one once of charisma, never smiles and can't ad lib. His delivery is so matter of fact, almost to the point of "lets get this programme over with as soon as I can".

He is such a disappointment to previous presenters.

Helen Warner, Channel 4 Head of Daytime said he would "bring dry wit, fierce intelligence and unique charm".

Jay Hunt, Channel 4 Chief Creative Officer said "he is sharp, funny and has a real twinkle in his eye".

Peter Gwyn, Countdown Executive Producer said Nick Hewer will "bring his unique style and humour, with Nick at the helm and over our 30th birthday, next year, we've got some very exciting times ahead for Countdown viewers". To all three people I say you have obviously not watch Nick Hewer in action. Take a look and see what I mean. .
