"Breakfast advertising con"

We too fell for the £1.99 breakfast. The board clearly indicates that the breakfast with a hot drink is £1.99 And then there is the asterisk and the small print at the bottom which says that you must purchase the hot drinks in order to get the breakfast for £1.99 - SO IT IS A LIE BUT THEIR FINGERS WERE CROSSED BEHIND THEIR BACKS.

BHS used to be a respected store but then you could say the same for the banks !!

I understand that the outlet that we used are now allowing the breakfast to be purchased for £1.99 without having to purchase a hot drink because they have had so many complaints.

Santander are currently using the same trick to advertise their loans i.e. a lie with their fingers crossed behind their backs !.
