"Great service, shame about the property"

I've been living in Osterley Gardens for about a year now and The service from Windmill Residential has been absolutely stellar from day 1. They were extremely flexible about the first batch of rent and deposit, fully understanding that like a lot of young professionals just starting out, I didn't have access to the full deposit + first month's rent.

In the time I've been here, there haben't been too many problems with the flat: the occasional hiccup with the boiler or washing machine, general and expectable wear and tear - all it took was one email to the office and they got it fixed the next working day.

But!

It's not a quiet place to live - there are a lot of students, or it sounds like it, and if you're facing into the courtyard than all the sound amplifies and carries. There's a gazebo in the centre, and there's regularly a bunch of anti-social muppets drinking in there until well past midnight, their voices getting louder. The walls are pretty thin too - if someone has their stereo up, you'll hear it; Does your neighbour like skipping or Dance Dance Revolution? you will hear their thudding at the other end of your flat. I welcome the aircraft when they fly over, giving a moment's respite - but sadly the aircraft stop at about 11pm. Not to mention the idiots who like to shine heavy duty lasers through your windows.

I can't recommend Windmill Residential highly enough, but avoid Osterley Gardens like the plague..
