"A nearly dead bunch of flowers was delivered"

I was sent flowers for my birthday and have discovered they were from here. It was a real heart sink as I know they were intended as a really wonderful gift, but instead I received a virtually dead bunch of flowers - some lasted 2 days, but most were faded and drooping by the evening. A cynical move by the florist who might think there's no recourse, given the order came from overseas, but it's not just financial - it was a real shame..
