"Bankers with digital dementia"

A review of Santander by Disgruntled and poorer from Santander written on Wednesday 28th of September 2016

I called Santander because I was about to make a large purchase using my debit card and wanted to make sure it went through. After being advised that it would, it was declined.

I called back. A mere 1 3/4 hours later I was advised that to complete security Santander must call me back. I waited 45 minutes and call Santander back. The bank was closed. It appears that the Santander employee had dialed the wrong number. I have given the same number to two more employees who have also taken it down incorrectly. Now I am told that I must be responsible for additional charges on the purchase even though the Santander employees called the wrong number. It does not bode well that the employees of Santander can't remember a simple telephone number. What other numbers are they getting wrong?.
