"Poor communication and didnt fix the bike."

I rarely use bike shops - I do all my own repairs and maintenance. I was defeated by a slipping chain -could not set it up. Thought I would try Wilsons instead of a bike chain [no pun intended!]. Dropped in on Monday with planned Tuesday after 5pm pickup. Arrived Tuesday - not done - 'hadn't I received a call?' No call. Agreed to return Wednesday. Arrived Wednesday - shop was shut. Arrived Thursday expressing some dissatisfaction. Got £5 off the bill. Has someone ridden it? I ask wanting to know it is fixed -'yes the boss has'. So home I ride and the chain still slips. Dangerous. and a waste of money. If this isn't typical then I was unlucky but I will not be going back..
