"Camp beds"

I was also at this school ,and left around 1956 . I think the head then was mr Jefferson ?. I remember we all had to lay out in camp beds every day in the play ground in the open air.I also remember we had a large spoonful of malt every day and a bottle of milk . I remember Mr Hardy and remember personally of him being quite a stern man .I used to walk about 4 miles to school and back [a bit diff now days ] .Remember it quite fondly ,and can still picture some of the teachers now ,even though I am 75 ..
