I had a very good experience with Layzells a few years ago.
They looked after my conveyancing for me whilst I was splitting up from my husband. The partner I dealt with was unfailingly helpful, and very on the ball about the possible pitfalls of buying a leasehold or freehold flat. She was prompt and efficient in steering me through the whole conveyancing process and careful not to let me sign any documents until I'd read them carefully!!
At what was a difficult time for me personally, I felt my solicitor was completely "on my side" and had my interests at heart.
