"Fragrance is lacking"

My wife has used your product, Shalimar for the last 40 years and has had an unusual experience with her perfume.
We purchased this at Longs Drug Stores in Calif and there is a lack of aroma that one usually can detect in your perfume. Longs will not exchange or do anything regarding this. There is still a full bottle left.
Can you direct us to who may be able to assist us. This was a total surprise to my wife as she never experienced this before.
