"Costly but worth it?"

Food was excellent,both in terms of taste and choice, service attentative and good to start with. As filled up slowed down (or was that to let us relax)and a wait for the bill.
But even though excellent, 2 starters, 2 mains, and 1 bottle of wine (£19) over £81.00 - possible due to addition of vegetables (1), cover charge (2), water (£3) and service charge (12.5%), yes a cover and a service charge!
So it all ended up with what I thought was costly (but not from London so you may not!)and not full (portions adequate but not huge).
I went specifcally to hear Fado, and as non available (on a Saturday, due to holidays, I came away flat.
The excellent food and Fado would have made it worth while, but miffed at no live music especially after asking when I booked.
