"Going, going, gone..."

Okay Bella, you've had your skylarks and your novelty season, now it's time to become a magazine again. How many times do you have to hear "WE DON'T LIKE IT!" before you actually give your previously loyal readers the respect they deserve?

We liked Bella the way it was: entertaining, informative, intelligent and interesting. We don't like Bella the way it is: unentertaining, uninformative, unintelligent and uninteresting.

I don't want to know about Posh's latest recipe with a lettuce leaf; I don't want to know about alleged bickering between Angelina and Brad; I don't want to know how Anne Hathaway manages to be sexy yet serious. If I did want to know these things I would buy Heat magazine, or Closer, or Reveal, or Now, or OK, or Hello, or one of the other hundred or so magazines which seem to exist purely to tell an underwhelmed nation the day to day habits of the latest bunch of misfits to enter the Big Brother house.

If you think I am wrong then accept my challenge:

For just one month revert to the old Bella formula and keep a tally of the number of issues sold.

I guarantee that Bella will start to sell in good numbers again.

There is always a reason for the falling away in great numbers of a loyal readership, take note and if you seriously want to be a contender in the market, address the problem today and give the customers what they want.
