"Not bad food, but probably won't be going back"
A review of Ye Olde Spotted Horse by Mashmash - Saturday 3rd of November 2007
Went here for a Sunday lunch. The place would do much better if they got rid of the guy who spends all afternoon shouting Chef This, Chef That into the kitchen, whilst standing in the restaurant, when the chef is only stood a few feet away from him anyway.
They should fix the leaky ceiling that has clearly been leaky for quite some time.
And the Apple And Rhubarb Crumble would have probably been much better if it had some rhubarb in it, and if it was a crumble.
Otherwise the food wasn't bad. But I don't think I'll bother returning.
