"Good food for a relaxed evening"A review of Kam Fung by Anita - Saturday 17th of November 2007Advertisements
Unfair comment from the previous reviewer, the dishes are completely different on the chinese menu, though they are not by any means cheap, they are fairly priced for their large portions and great quality of food, which i have found always to be very fresh. The english menu is more catered to western tastes, and i find that many of my english friends who visit with me never order anything off the chinese menu even after my translation of it and are weary to try, not because the food isn't good, but sometimes when you go into a chinese restraunt or any restraunt you go to often, you already have in mind what you would like to order. The staff there are very friendly, and if you took the time to ask for their reccomendations, they will reccomend you dishes not normally found on the menu(that be chinese or english). I visit kamfung quite frequently, and have never had problems, the waitresses are very friendly, and if you get to know them better they may even share a joke or two with you. A nice restraunt to go with friends for relaxed meals, though perhaps it does need some TLC on the decoration side of things, but its the food and atmosphere we go for. |
