"Stay Away from Feng Wei"

Feng Wei was recommended to me by a Chinese friend. I ate there once in the restaurant - the food was pretty good but the service was AWFUL. The guy was rude and refused to explain one of the dishes to me. Perhaps we would have gotten better service if we were Chinese.

I decided to give it one more chance and I ordered food to be delivery one rainy and cold evening. I ordered food just after 8pm and they said it would take 30-45 minutes, but it still hadn't arrive by 9:15 so I called and the guy confirmed my address again and said it would be there shortly, but then the driver called me and I could barely understand him but he kept shouting into the phone. I called the restaurant and he said the delivery guy couldn't find my building (which is a fairly easy building to find with numerous large landmarks around). I gave him directions again and again and he finally told me to go downstairs and wait in the street (in the rain and cold!). The guy still never showed up after 10 minutes of waiting in the cold so I called again and he said his driver had gone back because we told him we didn't want the food - which was completely untrue? Then the restaurant guy said "fine, I will bring the food to you myself." By this time it's 10pm. I said I don't want cold food, and it's been almost 2 hours - he offered to give me what was about 10% discount - insulting for 2 hours waiting and cold food.

I ripped up their menu and threw it away. I will never order from them again. .
