Yes,

Nostalgia, Barry would would go out of his way to helping me with my school electronics projects, advising on which were the cheapest components equivents 5 Pounds did'ent go very far in those days etc...coming home and getting my soldering iron out.

His knowledge of components and ideas - astounded and bemused me my mentor, he will always be.

My last visit to the shop near the hill was in 1985, Barry had a helper a young gray haired Asian chap also a great guy!

I am now in Canada and often think how my son would have gone to the same shop as I did when I was a Lad.
