"Mysterious paper ticket"

A review of TAP Portugal by W.p. jaspert written on Sunday 9th of December 2007

On 8 November 2007 I flew from Malage in Spaon via Lisbon to London-Hatrow.

Check-in, seat allocation, wheelchair provision and baggage to London went smoothly.

Malaga-Lisbon no trouble and even without having to show my paper ticket for flight TAP 1287. I was recognized as a passenger booked by United Airlines with flights to Malaga by Lufyhansa via Frankfurt on 1 December 2007.

Chaos at Lisbon Airport: Delay, no wheelchair and then when boarding time came my paper ticket for flight TP 356 was not recognized by the counter staff. I spent a boring time sitting waiting whilr other people boarded. Finally only 4 passengers with dicey tickets from Africa were boarded and then I was called to board. No reason was given for my discomfort. No refreshment offered and no apology. I was made to feel neglectful andincompetent - and I travel abroad almost every two weeks. Most airline staff were. however, polite.
