"Stupid automated phone answer"

A review of Malta Tourist Office by ACDavies written on Thursday 13th of December 2007

I telephoned the number quoted for the Malta Tourism Office, because I wanted to find out their opening times, in order to visit them.

I received a short recorded message asking me to leave my name and address, and informing me that I should wait 10 days for delivery.

They apparently do not care what I wanted to know, and presumably just have a standard package which they send to everyone, regardless of needs. The message did not inform me what would be delivered, it is just my assumption that it might be some tourist brochures about visiting Malta.

No alternative contact phone number, fax number or e-mail address was offered.

This does not seem an encouraging response from a national tourist office in a major city.
