A review of The Old Bank by S brettle - Tuesday 8th of January 2008
The title says it all....
Myself and a friend dined at this restaurant on New Years Eve. We thought we would keep things close to home this year instead of getting stuck in crowds in central London.
Firstly it took 15 minutes to even get a menu. Then another 15 minutes for someone to take a drinks order. This was then forgot about and we had to order again. The water we ordered never came. We waited over an hour for a starter and 2 hours 10 minutes for a main. This came without the vegetables we ordered.
Simply dreadful service and food. If it wasn't for going to the counter to get the bill whilst eating our main, we would have been there for the turn of midnight.
It really was a shame as The Old bank looks very promising from the outside.
