I agree that as an ex servicemens'club the application to become a member should have received a better response. If there are indeed no openings for new members at this branch perhaps an associate membership with access to all such clubs should have been available. It is a pity we don't treat our

servicemen better.New membership to any club should be encouraged in order to keep the establishments going.

My husband has been a lifetime member as was his father before him and were dissappointed to hear that this soldier was turned away..
