Hello

My name is Peter Taylor

My son Russell Taylor contracted ALD at the age of 15 , and is now 24. He went blind three years ago and his walking and speech have deterioated in the last six months. He is now in a wheel chair and has help from support workers. I am a lone Parent looking after Russell who lives with me.

The thing that keeps Russell occupied is the use of a local gym and swimming pool. He regularly attends and this keeps him going.

He also enjoys pottery classes and listening to his music.

If there is anyone who is in a similar situation I will be happy to hear from them.

Many Thanks

Peter Taylor
