A review of Old Truman Brewery by John V Howard written on Thursday 10th of April 2008

Hi, My Great Great Great Granfather Charles Vandersteen was the landlord of the Frying Pan Pub in Brick Lane, his son Wiliam Vandersteen had th Jacobs Well and his other son, my Great Great grandfather has the Two Balls in Whitechaple Road. All in and around 1840 to 1860.

Did the pubs belong to Truemans? if so is their any way I can get confirmation of their tenancy? and any other information that maybe availible.

The howards, Joseph and his daughter, My Great Great Grandmother woked for the brewery as Brewery Clarks at and around the same time.

With thanks

John Vandersteen-Howard.
