"A friendly shop willing to spend the time with me"

A review of Moose Cycles by Jo Bennetts - Sunday 13th of April 2008

A bit of an Aladins Cave, this shop looks fairly small from the outside but is much bigger than I expected and offered a better range of bikes that I'd seen elsewhere in the area. I was looking for a decent bike for commuting. Greg, the owner as it turns out, was happy to spend time with me running through what I should consider when deciding on a bike and suggested a number of options - which I was able to test out, then and there, on the local roads. I did have a look at a couple of other shops locally, including Action Bikes in Wimbledon, but really didn't like their attitude. I went back to Moose Cycles, where I bought a bike using my cycle scheme vouchers. I also bought all the accessories, which they fitted for me free of charge. I get a free one year's servicing with the bike - which as I don't really have time for mechanics seems a great deal. I'd recommend this shop to anyone - as well as commuter bikes, they had some great looking high end bikes.
