"Lovely food"

I went to the restaurant for the first time in May 2008. The restaurant itself is lovely and the food delicious. The only thing I would complain about is that the staff did not come across as being friendly at all and the plates of food were simply plonked down on the table. At no time were we asked whether everything was ok with our meals and we had to wait quite a while for knife and forks which we were given to us long after the food had been served. I would go again as the food itself is very good. It would however be nice to be greeted by smiling, friendly and helpful staff.
