"Don't waste your night!"
A review of Le Piaf Restaurant by Charley pearce - Saturday 7th of June 2008
We were there for over two hours and in this time we managed to eat a main and be served one drink which we had to ask for. The food was satisfactory but when I go out for a meal and pay a 12.5% service charge I expect to get some bloody service. 30 minutes after we finished our main course we were finally asked if we would like a dessert menu and after waiting a further 30 minutes with no service we paid the bill, what I was paying for I'm not sure. I would like to point out that there were only about 20 people in the restaurant with many empty tables (hardly surprising) not really a pressing service for a Saturday night.
After checking the reviews for Le Piaf it seems we are not alone in the experience. I suggest someone in management takes on board the reviews and does something about it. Like many of the customers who have had a similar experience we will not return to Le Piaf because the food is average (what we managed to sample) but the staff and service is appalling.
