I have now ordered from Desh more than once and have had an outstanding meal each time.
I strongly recommend the jalfrezi, in which delicate tastes combine in a satisfying, punchy mouthful. Another favourite is the perfectly tender chicken shaslik, with its subtle, mouthwatering combinations of flavours. The great leveller of all Indian eateries, the onion bhaji, is a crisp delight at Desh and far from the soggy, chewy offerings of some restaurants. For a vegetable side, the sag aloo is also hard to beat.
The Desh staff are friendly and the delivery prompt. All this for a very reasonable price makes Desh one of the best choices in the area.
