Both myself and my father worked for the company in the fifties and sixties dad at sunbury pit and myself as Transport manager during this period the company was owned by Mr. Fred Green and we were responsible for supply of aggregates to projects such as The Royal Festival Hall, Hyde park underpass The Heathrow extention elephant and castle improvement and the early stages of the M4 motorway among many others, This was all transported on 7 yard and 14 yard dodge Kew tippers I guess that all this and my colleages are all history as I am ow aproaching my 72 year I might be remembered as John Savage
