"A tired old place!"
A review of Angelo Daily Trattoria by Nath - Wednesday 17th of September 2008
Bad lunch experience at Angelo's where service was atrocious despite a lot of staff hanging about and only one other table occupied. Dried up lasagne. Adequate pizza (good base to be fair). A mixed salad with iceberg lettuce shredded to bits with very dull seasoning. The manager took the lasagne off the bill (which took half an hour and several reminders to reach us). The coffee was shamefully bad. Not a tribute to italian food. Pulcinella on Church Street is a world apart, if more expensive. Go there instead for a real italian treat.
