We went to the poet for Sunday lunch.
They have had a re-vamp, and the place is beautiful.
Chandeliers, new furniture... wow, its looks great,
all candlelit and cosy considering its such a large space.
We chilled out to funky music, played some pool and had the best roast dinner on offer in the area.
Staff, exceptionally friendly without being in your face.
And a big plus, is that we didnt have to queue for a table, whereas if you walk the 2 minutes to spitalfields market, the eaterise are there are over priced, slow service and not always guaranteed to get a table.
On the whole, well worth a visit. In the heart of petticoat lane market, its like an oasis.
