"Excellent restaurant, friendly owner"
A review of Stavros Greek Restaurant by Ertrum - Sunday 18th of January 2009
We ate here twice. The first night, Boxing Day, my daughter and I split their "meze", or sample menu: hummous, taramasalata, whitebait and calamari for starters. This was followed by grilled meats and loukanika - a Greek sausage. All the food was very well prepared and presented. The owner joined us to chat during dinner. He's a "Persian", from Tehran, and very friendly. After dinner, we had desserts; baklava and berse nesse, both of which were excellent. The restaurant appears to do a good take away business, though the dining room was empty while we were there. The second time we ate here was New Year's Eve. The food and service were, again, excellent. This was, easily, the best restaurant of any type that we dined at during our week in London.
