Golden Square

Westminster. (W1) Originally Golding, derived its name from one Golding, by whom it was built. Here once resided the celebrated Henry St. John, Lord Bolingbroke; also Mrs. Cibber, the actress, lived here in 1746. (Reference: Jesse's London, vol. I, p. 18)
