Grosvenor Square


(W1) Built on the property of Sir Richard Grosvenor, and named after him. In this square lived Bishop Warburton. The Marquis of Rockingham, when driven from the Premiership in 1766, was also living here. Lord North was another Prime Minister who resided here. (Reference: Jesse's London, vol. I, p. 40)
