Jerusalem Passage

St. John's Square, Finsbury. (EC1) It is probable that this avenue received its name from an old public-house, the "St. John of Jerusalem," which, until the year 1760, stood at the north-east corner of it. (Pinks's History of Clerkenwell, p. 287)
